Caesars is the online arm of the largest casino-resort company in the United States: Caesars Sportsbook in more than 20 states, two online casinos (Caesars Palace Online and Horseshoe Online) in four, and Caesars Rewards, a loyalty scheme that turns online bets into hotel nights, dining and free play at dozens of Caesars resorts. It also runs regulated sites in Ontario and, since July 2026, Alberta. It is licensed in every market it serves and takes no cryptocurrency. This review covers Caesars as it stands in October 2026: where it is live, what the welcome offers are worth, how withdrawals and Caesars Rewards work, the New Jersey fine and the pending Fertitta takeover, and how it compares with BetMGM, FanDuel and DraftKings.
- Who runs it: Caesars Digital, part of Caesars Entertainment. Shareholders approved a $17.6 billion takeover by Fertitta Entertainment on 22 September 2026; the deal still needs FTC and state gaming approvals and had not closed when we checked.
- Where it is live: Caesars Sportsbook in about 22 states plus Washington, DC; Caesars Palace Online Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia; and all three brands in Ontario and Alberta.
- Welcome offers (October 2026): the sportsbook gives ten 100% profit boosts for a $1 first bet. Caesars Palace Online gives a $10 bonus, a 100% deposit match up to $1,000 at 15x on slots, and 2,500 Reward Credits.
- 2026 news: a $251,250 New Jersey fine in August over self-exclusion and deposit-limit failures, a refusal to enter prediction markets, a new invitation-only Olympus tier in Caesars Rewards, and the end of credit-card deposits.
- No crypto and no UK site: Caesars pays out by PayPal, Venmo, Play+, debit card and bank transfer. For crypto gambling, see our crypto casino rankings.

Our verdict on Caesars
Caesars earns its place at the top of our regulated rankings because of what sits behind the app. Caesars Rewards is the most valuable loyalty link in US online gambling: every bet and spin earns credits you can spend at dozens of resorts, from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, and the same account follows you from the app to the casino floor. The sportsbook is deep, with strong NFL and college coverage, same-game parlays and out-of-market NFL streams, and the casino side gives players in four states two separate brands to choose from.
It is not perfect. Sportsbook prices trail FanDuel and DraftKings on many markets, the casino libraries are smaller than BetMGM’s, and the August 2026 New Jersey fine showed real gaps in how self-exclusion and deposit limits were handled. The Fertitta takeover adds uncertainty about long-term strategy, although nothing in the deal changes how your account or funds work today.
Caesars suits players who visit Caesars resorts, or plan to, and want online play to pay for hotel nights, shows and dining. It is also a sound choice for NFL bettors who like boosts and streams. If you only care about the sharpest prices or the biggest slot library, compare it with the other US sportsbooks and online casinos we review.

Licences, ownership and safety
Caesars Sportsbook began life as William Hill US, which Caesars bought in 2021 along with William Hill’s international business. Caesars sold the non-US business, including the British William Hill brand, to 888 in 2022, which is why Caesars has no UK site today. In each US state the sportsbook and casinos are licensed by the state regulator: the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Michigan Gaming Control Board, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and so on. In Ontario, Caesars runs Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, Caesars Palace Online Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino under agreements with iGaming Ontario, and in Alberta all three are approved by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission.
The Fertitta takeover
In May 2026 Caesars Entertainment agreed to be bought by Fertitta Entertainment, the company of Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta, for $31 a share in cash, about $17.6 billion including roughly $11.9 billion of debt. The agreement followed months of competing interest from Carl Icahn. Shareholders approved the deal on 22 September 2026 with about 65% of shares in favour. The Federal Trade Commission has asked for more information, divestitures in overlapping Nevada markets are possible, and state gaming regulators must also approve. Until closing, Caesars Digital operates as before. Caesars has also said it has no near-term plan to spin off or sell the digital business.
Fines and enforcement
On 5 August 2026 New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement fined Caesars Sportsbook $251,250 and ordered it to surrender $45,465 of gambling revenue. The regulator found that self-excluded people had kept active accounts and could bet through other Caesars platforms, that Caesars failed to send the daily self-exclusion list, that it offered a permanent online self-exclusion option the rules do not allow, that some players could exceed their own deposit limits, and that some advertising lacked the required responsible-gambling wording. Caesars accepted the penalty. It is one of the larger online fines in New Jersey and a reminder to check that any limit you set is working.
Regulation still gives you real protection: segregated player funds, mandatory identity and location checks, and a state regulator to complain to. That is a far stronger position than at an offshore crypto casino; our guide to gambling licences explains the difference.
Where Caesars is available in October 2026
You must be inside a licensed state or province to bet, and the app checks your location each session. Caesars applies a 21+ policy to its own products and to Caesars Rewards, including in Canada.

Caesars welcome offers in October 2026
Affiliate sites advertise many different codes, but they lead to a small number of offers. These were the published terms in early October 2026.
Caesars Sportsbook
The standard offer is "Double Your Winnings": register, deposit at least $10 and place a first cash bet of $1 or more at odds of -10000 or longer within 30 days. You then receive ten 100% profit boost tokens. Each boost doubles the profit on a bet of up to $25, with winnings capped at $2,500 per token, and tokens expire 14 days after they are issued. Some codes swap this for a "bet reset" of up to $250: five days of $50 refunds in bonus bets if your bet loses. Both are listed in most sportsbook states; Nevada has no welcome offer.
You use a token on a $25 bet at +150. Without the boost you would win $37.50 profit; with it you win $75. If all ten boosted bets won at +150, the boosts would add $375 in extra profit. If a boosted bet loses, you lose your $25 stake as normal, so the offer only pays when you win. Our odds guide explains American odds.
Caesars Palace Online Casino
| Part | What you get | Wagering |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up bonus | $10 after a $10 deposit | 1x on slots, 2x video poker, 5x other games |
| Deposit match | 100% up to $1,000 | 15x on slots, 30x video poker, 75x other games, within 7 days |
| Reward Credits | 2,500 after $25 wagered | None |
Deposits by PayNearMe do not qualify, and a few slots are excluded from wagering. Horseshoe Online Casino runs its own offer, reported in 2026 as up to 1,000 bonus spins for a small first deposit. Canadian offers are shown after registration under Ontario and Alberta advertising rules.
You deposit $400 and get a $400 match. At 15x you must wager $6,000 on slots within seven days. At an average 96% return to player, that wagering costs about $240 in expected losses (4% of $6,000), leaving the match worth roughly $160 on average. Take only the match you can clear comfortably in a week. Our casino bonuses explainer covers the maths.
Caesars casinos: games and features
Caesars runs two online casino brands in the US. Caesars Palace Online Casino is the flagship, with slots, jackpots, table games, video poker and live dealer tables from Evolution. Library sizes differ by state: 2026 reviews put New Jersey at more than 1,000 games and smaller states at several hundred. Horseshoe Online Casino, launched in 2024 and 2025, has its own lobby and offers, and some reviews count more than 1,500 games on it.
- Slots: titles from IGT, Light & Wonder, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play and others, plus Caesars-branded and exclusive games.
- Jackpots: progressive slots with linked prize pools.
- Table games: blackjack, roulette, baccarat and craps in RNG and live versions.
- Poker: WSOP Online, a sister brand, in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
RTP varies by game; check each game’s information panel, and read our RTP guide if the figures are new to you.
Caesars Sportsbook: markets and features
The sportsbook covers the major US leagues, college sports, soccer, tennis, golf and combat sports, with in-play betting across more than 25 sports. Standout features include out-of-market NFL streaming for active bettors, same-game parlays of up to 12 legs, Parlay Plus boosts and a parlay hub. For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Caesars added group, elimination-stage and continent markets alongside its usual props.
Prices are generally a little less competitive than FanDuel and DraftKings, though Caesars can match or beat them on some moneylines. If you bet often, it pays to compare with bet365 or Hard Rock Bet before you place a bet.
Caesars Rewards explained
Every Caesars account is part of Caesars Rewards. You earn two currencies: Reward Credits, which you spend, and Tier Credits, which set your status for the calendar year. Online play at Caesars Sportsbook, Caesars Palace Online, Horseshoe Online and WSOP Online all counts, together with play and spending at Caesars resorts.
| Tier | Tier Credits per year |
|---|---|
| Gold | 0 (on sign-up) |
| Platinum | 5,000 |
| Diamond | 15,000 |
| Diamond Plus | 25,000 |
| Diamond Elite | 75,000 |
| Seven Stars | 150,000, by invitation |
| Olympus | 300,000, by invitation; benefits from 1 February 2027 |
Online, slots earn about one Reward Credit and one Tier Credit per $5 wagered and table games about one per $25. Sports bets earn up to 10 credits per $100 on straight bets and more on parlays, subject to minimum odds. Online, 100 Reward Credits are worth $1 in bonus funds; you can also spend them on hotel stays, dining and shows. Reward Credits expire if you earn none for six months.
Caesars announced Olympus in August 2026: players who reach 300,000 Tier Credits by 31 December 2026 can be invited as founding members, with benefits including 40% faster Reward Credit earning. For most players the realistic value sits lower: Platinum and Diamond bring resort perks such as priority lines, waived resort fees at some properties and Diamond lounges.
Deposits and withdrawals
Caesars takes a wide range of US payment methods, but no cryptocurrency, and it stopped accepting credit-card deposits in spring 2026.
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Typical speed once verified |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | Yes | Yes | Usually within 24 hours |
| Venmo | Yes | Yes | Up to 3 business days |
| Play+ prepaid card | Yes | Yes | Up to 3 business days, often faster |
| Online banking (Trustly) | Yes | Yes | Usually within 24 hours |
| VIP Preferred eCheck / ACH | Yes | Yes | Up to 3 business days |
| Debit card | Yes | In some states | Up to 3 business days |
| Apple Pay, PayNearMe | Yes | No | Not applicable |
| Cash at a Caesars cage | Yes | Yes | Same day, in person |
The minimum deposit is $10 online. Most withdrawals are completed within 72 hours, and PayPal is usually the fastest. Your first withdrawal waits on identity verification, so upload documents early. Ontario reviews give two to five business days for payouts. Our deposits and withdrawals guide explains how payment rails compare.
Responsible-gambling tools
Gambling is paid entertainment, not income. Caesars offers deposit limits, wager limits, time limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion in the account settings, and it must honour state self-exclusion lists. The 2026 New Jersey fine found that some of these controls failed, so check that any limit you set appears in your account and contact support if it does not.
- Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, and lower it at any time.
- Use cool-off or self-exclusion if you want a break; state programmes cover every licensed operator, not just Caesars.
- Review your activity statement each month to see your real net result.
- Never chase losses or use Reward Credits as a reason to keep playing.
If gambling stops being fun, call or text the National Council on Problem Gambling’s 24/7 helpline on 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). In Ontario, ConnexOntario offers free support. Our responsible gambling guide and responsible gambling hub list more help.
Caesars in 2026: the news that matters
Staying out of prediction markets
At the Global Gaming Expo at the end of September 2026, Caesars chief executive Tom Reeg said the company would only consider prediction markets if they did not put its gaming licences at risk, comparing the situation with daily fantasy sports before sports betting was legal. He also noted that a Kalshi contract on whether Caesars would be sold in 2026 had no rule stopping an insider like him from trading on it. Caesars Digital president Eric Hession has said prediction markets have not yet had an appreciable impact on Caesars but will become formidable competitors.
Digital results
Caesars Digital reported second-quarter 2026 net revenue of $351 million, up 2.3% on a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA fell to $68 million from $80 million. Because of the pending merger, Caesars did not hold an earnings call.
Tax changes
From the 2026 tax year, US federal law caps deductions for gambling losses at 90% of losses, so a break-even player who itemises can still owe tax on part of their winnings. Repeal bills have been introduced but none had passed when we checked. Several states also raised operator taxes in 2025, which helps explain why welcome offers have become leaner. Keep your own records for tax time.
What players say
Caesars Sportsbook rates about 4.7 out of 5 on both the App Store (around 96,000 ratings) and Google Play (around 53,000) as of July 2026. Positive feedback focuses on Caesars Rewards and the speed of the app. Complaints focus on app crashes during long sessions or live streams, problems linking rewards to accounts, and accounts frozen for review after unusual activity. Industry reviews of Ontario rate the product well but call payouts slow.
App store ratings are not verified and skew towards satisfied customers who are prompted to rate. If you have a dispute, the state regulator is the right place to escalate it.
How Caesars compares
| Brand | Loyalty link | Strength | Weakness |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caesars | Caesars Rewards | Resort perks, NFL features | Prices, 7-day casino wagering |
| BetMGM | MGM Rewards | Largest casino library | Varied offers by state |
| FanDuel | FanDuel rewards | Sportsbook app and pricing | No resort network |
| DraftKings | DraftKings rewards | Promotions and markets | No resort network |
| Hard Rock Bet | Unity by Hard Rock | Hard Rock resort perks | Fewer states |
For land-based perks, BetMGM is the closest rival. Fanatics and BetRivers suit players who want simpler rewards. All our picks are on the online casinos hub.
