Fanatics Sportsbook is the betting arm of the sports merchandise giant, and it has grown quickly from a 2023 launch into one of the most widely available legal sportsbooks in the United States. Its selling point is FanCash, a rewards currency you earn on bets and can spend on bonus bets, jerseys, tickets or prediction-market trades. This review covers how Fanatics works in October 2026: which states and provinces it serves, what the welcome offers are really worth, how FanCash and the Fanatics ONE tiers work, how fast withdrawals are, what responsible-gambling tools it offers, and how it compares with the other books in our sportsbook rankings. Fanatics is a state-licensed operator, not a crypto sportsbook: you deposit in dollars, and every state where it operates has its own regulator.

Key takeaways
  • Where it is live: Fanatics Sportsbook operates in 23 states plus Washington, DC, according to October 2026 review sites (some reports count 22). Missouri, in December 2025, was its most recent US launch. Fanatics Casino is online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
  • Canada: Fanatics received an Ontario registration in August 2026 and launched only its casino there. Canadian trade press reports the sportsbook is planned for 2027.
  • Welcome offer: in most states it is a 100% bet match in FanCash, up to $100 a day for 10 days (up to $1,000 in total), at odds of -200 or longer. Some states and promo codes get a different offer, including New York. Check your own app before you register.
  • FanCash: earned on settled bets and spendable on bonus bets, merchandise and more. It sits inside Fanatics ONE, a five-tier loyalty programme that also covers shopping and prediction markets.
  • Watch for: daily opt-ins on the welcome offer, short FanCash expiry windows, thinner niche markets than the biggest books, and support complaints in 2026 player feedback.

Offers, state lists and payment options change often. Everything here was checked against 2026 sources, but the terms in your own app are the final word. Sports betting is legal only for adults (21 and over in every Fanatics US state) who are physically inside a state where Fanatics is licensed.

Our verdict on Fanatics

Fanatics has done what few late entrants manage: it has built a polished app, a recognisable rewards currency and a footprint that now rivals the largest operators in the country. FanCash is the clearest differentiator. Most US sportsbooks pay rewards in points that only convert into more betting; FanCash can also be spent on merchandise and tickets, which gives it a value outside the sportsbook that many fans will appreciate.

It is still not the market leader. Fanatics Inc. chief executive Michael Rubin described the sportsbook as a "distant third" behind FanDuel and DraftKings in August 2026, and its market depth reflects that: reviewers in 2026 note fewer niche sports, props and alternative lines than at FanDuel or DraftKings. The welcome offers are generous on paper but rely on daily opt-ins and FanCash that expires within days, so you need to engage every day to get the headline amount.

Who it is for

Fanatics suits US bettors who like a clean app, bet mainstream sports, and will actually use FanCash, whether on bonus bets or on merchandise they would buy anyway. If you want the deepest prop menus or an online casino in more than four states, compare it with the alternatives below first.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Fully licensed in every state it serves, with state-level complaint routes and mandatory player protections.
  • FanCash can be spent on bonus bets, merchandise, tickets and other Fanatics products.
  • Welcome offer spreads value over 10 days instead of hanging it on one bet.
  • Strongly rated iOS and Android apps, with Face ID login and fast navigation.
  • Fair Play injury protection on some player props, expanded as Fair Play Max for the 2026–27 NFL season.
  • Wide state coverage: 23 states plus DC.

What to watch

  • Daily opt-in on welcome offers; missing a day forfeits that day’s value.
  • FanCash from promotions expires quickly, often within 7 days and sometimes within 24 hours.
  • Thinner niche markets, props and alternative lines than the biggest books.
  • Online casino in only four US states, plus Ontario.
  • Customer support is the most common source of complaints in 2026 reviews.
  • Promotions change often and differ by state, which confuses some users.

Welcome offers in October 2026

Fanatics runs more than one welcome offer at once, and which one you see depends on your state and the promo code or link you sign up through. October 2026 sources agree on the main structure.

From Rotowire (12 October 2026) and Action Network (October 2026). Some states and codes see a smaller or different deal.

New York offerProfit boost tokens rather than the FanCash match, per Action NetworkCheck the app; NY terms differ

Two features matter more than the headline. First, you must opt in each day, and on the 10-day match missing a day can end the promotion. Second, FanCash from these offers expires within days, so it suits people who bet regularly rather than once a week. Rotowire’s eligible-state list for the $1,000 match omitted New York, and Action Network describes a separate New York offer, so New York bettors should expect different terms.

Worked example: what the $1,000 match is worth

Say you place a $100 cash bet at -110 on each of 10 days. With a typical margin of about 4.5%, your expected loss on those bets is about $45. You collect $1,000 in FanCash. If you use it all as bonus bets at around even money, where your stake is not returned, each $100 is worth roughly $45 to $48 in expectation, so the package is worth about $450 to $480 before the $45 expected loss. If you would have bought $1,000 of merchandise anyway, FanCash is worth closer to face value. Either way, it is not $1,000 of cash.

You do not need to bet $100 a day to take part: the match applies from $1. Bet only what you would have staked anyway. Our bonuses hub and the bonuses explained guide show how to value bonus bets and wagering terms.

Fanatics Casino offers

Fanatics Casino in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia runs separate welcome offers, usually built around bonus spins or lossback paid in FanCash or casino credit. Terms differ by state and change frequently, so read the offer in the casino tab of the app rather than relying on sportsbook promo pages.

FanCash and Fanatics ONE

FanCash is Fanatics’ rewards currency across its businesses. On the sportsbook, you earn it on settled cash bets. According to Action Network’s October 2026 review, the rate scales with the odds: a small fraction of a percent on short-priced bets, rising to around 9% to 10% on very long-odds parlays. FanCash cannot be withdrawn as cash, but it can be converted into bonus bets or profit boost tokens, or spent on merchandise, Fanatics Live purchases and eligible event tickets.

Read the earn rate carefully

Because FanCash rises with the odds, the programme rewards long-shot parlays most heavily. Parlays also carry the highest margins in the app. Do not let a higher FanCash rate steer you into bets you would not otherwise make: the extra reward is small next to the extra expected loss.

The five Fanatics ONE tiers

Since 2025 FanCash has sat inside Fanatics ONE, a company-wide loyalty programme covering shopping, betting, collectibles and, since June 2026, prediction-market trades. Membership is free and tiers are based on tier points from activity across Fanatics.

Tier names from Bettors Insider (June 2026) and Fanatics’ 2025 launch coverage. Exact thresholds and earn rates change; check the Fanatics ONE page in the app.
TierHow you get thereTypical perks
ONE MemberAutomatic on joiningFanCash back on Fanatics app purchases, early access to product drops
ONE Member ProTier points from activityReduced ticket fees, milestone rewards, priority service
ONE GoldMore tier pointsPersonal host, event tickets, exclusive contests
ONE PlatinumMore tier pointsGifting programme, memorabilia, early event access
ONE BlackInvitation onlySignature events and exclusive collectibles

Sources disagree on current earn rates for shopping and on tier thresholds, and some earn routes such as Fanatics Live have been paused in 2026. Treat the tiers as a bonus for activity you would do anyway, not a goal to chase.

Betting markets and app features

Fanatics covers all the major US sports, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football and basketball, plus soccer, tennis, golf, MMA and boxing. Same-game parlays, live betting, cash-out and in-app NFL streaming are available. Fanatics added Squad Bets across NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL markets in 2026. Reviewers consistently rate the app’s speed and navigation highly but say its menus are less deep than the largest books on niche sports, player props and alternative lines.

Fair Play and Fair Play Max

Fair Play refunds certain player-prop bets when a player leaves early through injury, and Fanatics expanded it as Fair Play Max for the 2026–27 NFL season. Refunds are usually paid in FanCash or bonus bets rather than cash, so read the rules for each market.

One app since September 2026

On 2 September 2026 Fanatics combined its sportsbook, casino and prediction markets into a single Fanatics Sports & Casino app that shows each user what is legal in their location. Accounts, balances, FanCash and Fanatics ONE status carried over. Standalone casino and Markets apps remain available.

Payments and withdrawal speed

Fanatics accepts US dollars only; it does not take crypto. Its banking list has grown since launch.

Withdrawal speed is generally a strength. Gambling.com’s 2026 review found Fanatics processed PayPal withdrawals faster than any other operator it tested, and some app-store reviewers describe near-instant payouts. Others report delays, usually when identity or payment checks are triggered. Credit cards are not accepted for deposits, which is common in US states.

  • Complete identity verification when you sign up; US regulators require it before you can bet.
  • Withdraw to a method in your own name, ideally one you have already deposited with.
  • Bonus bets and FanCash cannot be withdrawn; only winnings from them become cash.
  • Keep records of deposits and withdrawals. US gambling winnings are taxable income.

Our deposits and withdrawals guide covers verification and payout delays in more detail.

Responsible gambling tools

As a state-licensed operator, Fanatics must offer the protections each regulator requires. Gambling.com’s 2026 review rated its responsible-gambling features well, highlighting an RG icon at the top of the home screen, prompts to set limits when the app launches, deposit and wager limits, and time-outs that freeze play. Self-exclusion is available both through Fanatics and through state self-exclusion programmes, which bar you from every licensed operator in that state.

  • Set a deposit limit before you claim any welcome offer.
  • Treat daily opt-in promotions as a reason to check your habits, not a reason to bet every day.
  • Use a time-out or self-exclusion if betting stops being fun.
  • In the US, free confidential help is available from the National Council on Problem Gambling on 1-800-MY-RESET.

Fanatics news in 2026

  • June 2026: Fanatics extended FanCash and Fanatics ONE to its prediction-markets platform, offering up to 10% FanCash on trades during the World Cup.
  • August 2026: the NFL named Fanatics an official sports betting partner and Fanatics Casino its official online casino partner, in a non-exclusive multi-year deal. Fanatics was already the league’s official e-commerce partner.
  • 11 August 2026: Ontario’s AGCO issued Fanatics a two-year internet gaming registration.
  • 1 September 2026: Fanatics Casino launched in Ontario, with the sportsbook planned for 2027.
  • 2 September 2026: the sportsbook, casino and Markets were combined into one Fanatics Sports & Casino app.
  • September 2026: Fair Play Max launched for the NFL season.

The direction is clear: Fanatics wants a single account and a single rewards currency across shopping, betting and trading. For bettors, that makes FanCash more flexible, but it also means more promotions competing for your attention across products.

Player feedback in 2026

The Fanatics app scored about 4.8 out of 5 on the Apple App Store and 4.7 on Google Play in October 2026, according to Action Network, from hundreds of thousands of ratings. Users praise its speed, design and FanCash. The most common complaints in 2026 reviews are slow customer support, frequent changes to promotions that make terms hard to follow, account restrictions or closures with little explanation, and occasional slowness when placing bets. Trustpilot pages for "Fanatics" mostly cover the merchandise business rather than the sportsbook, so they tell you little about betting.

Account limits on winning bettors are common across US sportsbooks, and Fanatics is no exception. If you have a dispute about a bet or a payout that support does not resolve, you can complain to the gaming regulator in your state, which is one of the main advantages of a licensed book over an offshore one.
