Chips.gg is a small, long-running crypto casino and sportsbook built around provably fair originals, a VIP ladder with rakeback, and, for most of its life, a profit-sharing feature called the Vault. It is run by Notyarg Ltd. under an Anjouan licence and has a loyal following, but 2026 coverage also raises real concerns: conflicting reports on whether the Vault still exists, complaints that self-exclusion requests were refused, and a licence that reviewers have struggled to confirm. This review sets out what 2026 sources say about Chips.gg in October 2026: the licence, the countries it turns away, the welcome offer and its terms, rakeback, withdrawals and verification, and how it compares with the other crypto casinos we review.
- 2026 warning signs first: a September–October 2026 review reports that Chips.gg retired the Vault in 2026 without launching a replacement, while other 2026 reviews still describe it. Two Trustpilot reviews from May 2026 say the casino refused requests to close accounts over problem gambling. Read the reputation section before you deposit.
- Operator and licence: Notyarg Ltd., reported as registered in Belize, under an Anjouan (Comoros) licence. One 2026 review found the licence listed only as valid to 17 July 2026, and no 2026 source we found confirms a renewal.
- Welcome offer: most September–October 2026 reviews describe a 200% deposit match up to $2,000 with 40x wagering, a $5 maximum bet and a $50 minimum deposit. Terms vary by country.
- Rakeback: unlocks at VIP level 20 (Flipper 1), reported as roughly $10,000 wagered, at a base rate of about 5%, with temporary boosts through promotions.
- Withdrawals: crypto only, usually fast on TRON and XRP. Two-factor authentication is required, and 2026 reviews report ID and address checks at around 1 BTC or $2,000.
- Countries: 2026 reviews list the US, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Turkey, the UAE and Australia among restricted countries.

Third-party reviews disagree on several basics, including the launch year, the coin list and whether the Vault is still running. Where 2026 sources conflict, we say so. The terms and cashier on your own account are the final word.
What changed in 2026: the Vault and other concerns
The Vault was the feature that set Chips.gg apart. Players earned CHIP tokens by betting and could lock them in the Vault to receive a share of a pool funded from the casino’s results. Its terms changed several times: BTCGOSU, an affiliate that once promoted Chips.gg, wrote that the Vault payout had been cut twice to 2% and that locked tokens would unlock after seven days without a login. BTCGOSU says it ended its relationship with Chips.gg over changes it called detrimental and unfair to players. Its page carries a 2026 update date, but it does not say when the relationship ended.
Is the Vault still running?
Sources disagree. Betrefs, in a review bylined September 2026 that cites posts up to 12 October 2026, says Chips.gg retired the Vault in 2026 and has not launched a replacement, so there is no Vault reward at present. CoinStats (October 2026) and The Spike still describe CHIP locking and profit sharing. When we checked on 13 October 2026, the Chips.gg help-centre articles that explained CHIP locking no longer loaded. We think the Vault is gone or suspended, but we could not confirm this from an announcement. Do not sign up expecting Vault payouts.
Self-exclusion complaints
Two Trustpilot reviews from May 2026, posted a day apart and possibly by the same person, say Chips.gg refused to close an account after the player said they had a gambling problem. Chips.gg replied by asking for account details and pointing the reviewer to support. Betrefs calls a refused self-exclusion request a serious red flag, and we agree: any casino should close an account promptly when asked. We have not seen the outcome of these cases.
Licence status
CoinStats reported in October 2026 that the Anjouan licence number matched the register but was shown as valid only until 17 July 2026. We found no 2026 source confirming a renewal, and the licence number could not be found in public search results. That may be a register that is slow to update rather than a lapsed licence, but it is worth checking before depositing.
Chips.gg is still operating and still paying withdrawals, according to recent Trustpilot reviews. The concerns above are about trust and player protection rather than an outage or a hack. If you play, keep balances small, withdraw promptly and test the self-exclusion and limit tools before you need them.
Our verdict on Chips.gg
On product, Chips.gg is a competent mid-sized crypto casino. It has provably fair originals with house edges from about 1%, a slot library that 2026 reviews put in the thousands, live tables, a sportsbook with esports, fast crypto withdrawals on cheap networks, and rakeback that starts at a clear threshold. The welcome match is generous on paper, and players report quick payouts.
The weaker side is trust. The operator is small, the licence comes from Anjouan, a light-touch regulator, and its current validity is unclear. The Vault, which was the main reason to choose Chips.gg over larger casinos, appears to have been withdrawn after years of cuts. The self-exclusion complaints from 2026 would worry us at any casino. Our score of 3.8 reflects the product and payout record; the issues in this review are why we would not rank it above the larger brands in our crypto casino rankings.
Chips.gg suits experienced crypto players who want originals, slots and esports betting on one balance and who are comfortable with an offshore casino. It is a poor fit if you need strong player protection or a reliable self-exclusion process, or if the Vault was the reason you were interested.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Provably fair Chips Originals such as Dice, Limbo, Plinko, Keno and Crash, with house edges from about 1%.
- A large slot and live-casino library from well-known studios, plus a sportsbook with esports.
- Rakeback from VIP level 20 at about 5%, with weekly and monthly bonuses on top.
- Fast withdrawals on TRON and XRP; recent players report payouts within minutes.
- Two-factor authentication required for withdrawals.
What to watch
- The Vault appears to have been retired in 2026, and its payouts had been cut before that.
- Two May 2026 complaints say self-exclusion requests were refused.
- Anjouan licence with unclear 2026 validity and little recourse for players.
- A $5 maximum bet while a bonus is active, with 40x wagering.
- Small operator: reviewers disagree on basic facts, and support replies on Trustpilot can take over a month.
Licence, ownership and safety
Chips.gg is operated by Notyarg Ltd., which Strafe and Trustpilot place in Belize. 2026 reviews name Jacob Dent, known online as Tacyarg, as founder. The casino launched with a large promotion on 30 August 2020, according to BTCGOSU’s contemporary coverage, and Betrefs noted its sixth anniversary in 2026. Some reviews give 2017 or 2022 as the launch year; we think those are errors.
The licence is reported as issued by the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, an island regulator in the Comoros, under the number ALSI-192407025-FI2. Older pages called it a Curaçao licence, which reflects the casino’s earlier set-up. An Anjouan licence lets Chips.gg operate from that jurisdiction; it does not give you the protections you would have at a UK or Maltese casino, such as an independent dispute service or enforced deposit limits. Our crypto casino licence guide explains how to check a licence and what each one is worth.
Account security
Chips.gg requires two-factor authentication for withdrawals and other sensitive actions, which is a good default. Withdrawals cannot be cancelled once submitted, and choosing the wrong network can mean losing the funds, so check the address and chain before you confirm. Our guide to deposits and withdrawals covers network choice in more detail.
Countries where Chips.gg is not available
Chips.gg does not serve every country, and we could not load its terms directly. Strafe (September 2026) lists the following restricted countries, matching the country list in The Spike’s July 2026 referral page: Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Curaçao, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, the Netherlands, North Korea, Slovakia, Spain, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and the United Kingdom. Sportsgambler’s September 2026 list is shorter but agrees on the US, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and the UAE.
We list Chips.gg only in markets where the evidence suggests it accepts players and where we cover crypto brands. We do not list crypto casinos in Sweden, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain or the United States, and in Canada we exclude Ontario and Alberta, which run their own licensed markets. Germany appears on every 2026 restricted list we found, so Chips.gg is not an option there; see our Germany market page. In Brazil, all online betting was banned under Provisional Measure 1,394 of 25 September 2026; our Brazil page has the details.
If your country is restricted, do not use a VPN or false details to sign up. That breaks the terms, and the casino can close the account and keep winnings at withdrawal. Our coverage pages and the Canada market page show which brands serve each market.
Welcome offer and bonus terms
Most September and October 2026 reviews describe the Chips.gg welcome offer as a 200% deposit match up to $2,000, with no code needed. Sportsgambler lists 40x wagering and a $50 minimum deposit, Strafe confirms 40x, and CoinStats reports a $5 maximum stake while the bonus is active. CoinStats and The Spike both note that terms vary by country. One September 2026 review says Chips.gg has no fixed welcome bonus at all, so check what your account actually offers before depositing.
Say you deposit $100 and receive a 200% match: $200 of bonus, $300 in play. If 40x applies to the bonus only, you must wager $8,000; if it applies to deposit plus bonus, $12,000. With a $5 maximum bet, $8,000 means at least 1,600 spins. On slots with a 96% RTP the expected cost is about $320 (4% of $8,000), more than the $200 bonus. On the $12,000 reading it is about $480. Either way the bonus softens losses rather than adding value, and you should confirm which balance the 40x applies to.
The $5 cap matters. Bets above it while wagering is active can void the bonus and its winnings. Read the game weightings too: originals and live tables often count for less, or not at all. Our casino bonuses explained guide shows how to compare offers.
Other promotions
Reviews describe a daily bonus that can be claimed from sign-up, weekly and monthly bonuses for regular players, races, challenges and a King of the Hill event. A birthday bonus reportedly requires a fully verified account.
VIP programme and rakeback
Rakeback at Chips.gg starts at VIP level 20, the first level of the Flipper tier. The Chips.gg help centre describes a default rate of 5% once unlocked, with promotion codes that boost it temporarily to 10%, 15%, 25% or even 50% before it returns to 5%. Sportsgambler (September 2026) puts the wagering needed to reach Flipper 1 at roughly $10,000, and Betrefs confirms 5% rakeback from level 20.
The tiers above Flipper are listed differently from one review to the next. The Spike names Flipper, Collector, Stacker, Hoarder and Tycoon, plus a hidden top status; others list High Roller in place of Hoarder. Higher tiers bring level-up rewards, weekly and monthly bonuses and reloads sized to your play.
Rakeback is usually a share of the house edge, not of your stake. Assume 5% of a 4% edge on slots: $10,000 wagered carries an expected loss of about $400 and returns about $20 in rakeback. The rakeback is real money with no wagering in most cases, but it reduces losses rather than covering them. Do not increase play to reach a tier.
Chips.gg has not published how its 5% is calculated, so treat the example as an illustration. Our rakeback casinos guide explains the different models.
Games, originals and the sportsbook
The Spike counted about 5,900 slots and some 60 studios in its 2026 review, including Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, Evolution and 3 Oaks Gaming. CoinStats gives a lower figure of 1,500-plus slots, so the library you see may depend on your country; Trustpilot reviewers mention regional game restrictions. Live casino comes mostly from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live.
Chips Originals
The in-house games include Dice, Limbo, Keno, Plinko, Crash, Mines, roulette and blackjack variants, around 13 titles in total. Betrefs reports a house edge from 1%, with Dice at 99% RTP, and says on-chain data measured the originals at about 1%. Each result can be checked with the server seed, client seed and nonce after the round. Our provably fair guide shows how to verify a bet, and the crash gambling guide covers the risks of fast games.
Sportsbook and esports
The sportsbook covers football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, horse racing, American sports and smaller markets such as futsal and kabaddi, with live betting. Esports is a strength: League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six and others, some with streams. The Spike found odds in line with other books and no regular boosts. Bet limits vary, and large stakes should be checked with support first. Our crypto sports betting guide covers margins and limits.
Payments, withdrawals and verification
Chips.gg is crypto only for withdrawals. Most 2026 reviews list Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, USD Coin, Litecoin, XRP, TRON, BNB, DAI and Shiba Inu, with some also listing BUSD and CAKE. Betrefs lists Solana among deposit and withdrawal options, which other reviews do not mention. Cards and wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay can be used to buy crypto through a third-party provider; that purchase carries its own fees.
| Item | What 2026 reviews report |
|---|---|
| Deposits | Credited after network confirmation, often within a minute |
| Withdrawal speed | TRON and XRP almost instant; BTC and ETH depend on the network; internal checks can take a couple of hours |
| Requirements | Verified email, 2FA turned on, a deposit in the past year, and amounts within a 24-hour allowance |
| Fees | A withdrawal fee per coin, shown in the cashier |
| KYC | ID and proof of address reported for withdrawals around 1 BTC or $2,000 |
| Large wins | Older coverage describes payouts above 25 BTC being split into weekly instalments |
Recent Trustpilot reviews mostly praise payout speed, but a September 2026 reviewer says funds disappeared after KYC and support stopped replying. We cannot verify either side. The safe approach is to make a small test withdrawal first and to complete verification before you hold a large balance. If you want the lightest checks, our no-KYC crypto casinos guide explains the trade-offs, and the instant withdrawal guide compares payout times.
A $100 withdrawal on TRON in USDT usually costs a dollar or so in fees and arrives within minutes. The same amount in BTC during a busy period can cost several dollars and take an hour or more. Pick the cheapest network your wallet supports and check that the deposit address matches it.
Player feedback and reputation in 2026
Chips.gg had a Trustpilot score of 3.9 out of 5 from 359 reviews when we checked in October 2026, with 67 posted in the previous 12 months. Ratings are split: 62% five-star and 31% one-star. Positive reviews mention fast withdrawals, good odds and helpful staff. Negative reviews cover verification problems, regional game restrictions, the quality of the originals and the self-exclusion complaints described above. Chips.gg replies to most negative reviews, but typically after more than a month.
Betrefs gave Chips.gg a provisional 7.6 out of 10 with a low trust sub-score, and The Spike rated it 4.2 out of 5. Betrefs also cites on-chain data showing about $1.4 million in crypto deposits over 30 days from around 1,800 depositors, which suggests a much smaller operation than market leaders such as Stake. Trustpilot does not verify reviews, so treat all of this as a pattern rather than proof.
Responsible gambling tools
Chips.gg shows an 18+ notice and a GamCare reference, and its terms provide for self-exclusion. The 2026 complaints suggest that the process may not always work as it should. Before you deposit, find the self-exclusion and limit options in your account settings and ask support how a closure request is handled. If you want to stop, ask in writing, keep the reply, and add device-level blocking software as a second layer.
- Set a monthly budget and deposit only that amount.
- Withdraw winnings to your own wallet rather than leaving them on the site.
- Do not chase VIP levels or rakeback boosts; they never cover the extra expected loss.
- If you feel you are losing control, use blocking software and contact a free support service.

How Chips.gg compares with other crypto casinos
| Casino | Main strength | Compared with Chips.gg |
|---|---|---|
| Stake | Originals, sportsbook and steady rakeback at scale | Much larger operator with a longer track record; Curaçao rather than Anjouan licence |
| BC.Game | Very large library and coin list | More coins and promotions; its own reputation issues |
| Goated | Rakeback from the first bet | No welcome bonus, but rakeback starts earlier |
| Rainbet | Rakeback with a light sign-up | Similar size and focus, simpler rewards |
| BetFury | Token rewards and staking | The closest replacement for a token-based reward like the old Vault |
Our full list of reviews covers more than thirty crypto brands, and the Stake alternatives guide matches casinos to playing style and country.
How to sign up and test a withdrawal
- Check that your country is not on the restricted list above, and that you are not in Ontario or Alberta if you are in Canada.
- Register with a unique password and turn on two-factor authentication straight away; you need it to withdraw.
- Decide whether to take the welcome match. If you do, note the 40x wagering and the $5 maximum bet.
- Make a small first deposit on a cheap network such as TRON or XRP, checking the network before you send.
- Play, then withdraw a small amount to your own wallet to test the process and any verification step.
- Set your limits and keep records of deposits and withdrawals for budgeting and tax.
