Sportsbet.io is one of the oldest crypto-first sportsbooks, launched in the mid-2010s by the group now called Yolo Group, the company behind Bitcasino.io. For years it was known for football sponsorships, sharp prices on major leagues and fast crypto payouts. 2026 has been a year of upheaval: Yolo said in 2025 it would leave grey markets and fold the brand into Yolo.com, reports in February 2026 named Betsson as a possible buyer, and on 30 September 2026 the site moved from a Curaçao licence to an Anjouan one under a new operating company. This review covers what the sportsbook and casino offer today, how the welcome bonus and rewards work, what the new terms say about withdrawals and KYC, and what the ownership changes mean for anyone keeping a balance there.

Key takeaways
  • New licence and operator: since 30 September 2026 Sportsbet.io is run by EZ Spins Ltd under an Anjouan licence, replacing Curaçao-licensed mBet Solutions N.V. Existing accounts and balances carried over.
  • Uncertain future: Yolo Group announced in 2025 that it would merge Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io into Yolo.com, and February 2026 reports said Betsson was in talks to buy both brands. We found no confirmed deal as of October 2026.
  • Strong sportsbook: 40+ sports, deep football and esports coverage, and independent 2026 price samples putting top-flight football margins at roughly 4% to 5%, competitive for an offshore book.
  • Welcome offer (October 2026): the Champions Welcome Bonus, 100% up to 300 USDT on sports or casino from a 10 USDT deposit. It must be activated before you deposit. Reported wagering is 10x to 15x for sports and 40x for casino.
  • Not available in the UK, the US, Australia, Germany, South Africa, Russia and other restricted markets, and offline for Brazil under the September 2026 betting ban.

Our verdict on Sportsbet.io

As a betting product, Sportsbet.io is still one of the better crypto sportsbooks. Football coverage goes deep into lower leagues, live betting is quick, esports has its own section, and the prices on major events are tighter than at many crypto-first rivals. Its promotions are built around the football calendar rather than one big sign-up bonus, which suits regular bettors more than bonus hunters.

The case against it is about the company, not the odds. Yolo Group told the trade press in September 2025 that it no longer saw grey markets as sustainable and planned to fold Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io into a regulated-only Yolo.com brand. In February 2026 The Australian reported that Betsson was in late-stage talks to buy both brands at a valuation below €50 million; Betsson declined to comment. Then, on 30 September 2026, the operator changed from Curaçao-licensed mBet Solutions N.V. to EZ Spins Ltd under an Anjouan licence, a lighter regime. Brands in transition can change terms, limits and staffing quickly, and public player feedback in 2026 is poor, with third-party summaries citing a very low Trustpilot score driven by complaints about account closures and KYC holds after wins.

Who it is for

Sportsbet.io suits experienced crypto bettors who want sharp football and esports prices and are comfortable with offshore risk. Given the ownership uncertainty, keep only what you need for the next few bets on the site and withdraw winnings promptly.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Competitive prices on top-flight football, tennis and US sports, based on independent 2026 samples.
  • Deep football coverage, including lower leagues from many countries, plus a dedicated esports section.
  • Fast live betting with cash-out on many markets.
  • Simple welcome offer with a choice between sports and casino versions.
  • Crypto withdrawals are usually quick once your account is verified.
  • Long operating history and a recognisable brand from years of football sponsorship.

What to watch

  • Anjouan licence since 30 September 2026, with weaker player protection than Curaçao’s new regime or a national regulator.
  • Owner has said it is leaving grey markets, and a sale of the brand has been reported but not confirmed.
  • Terms let the operator request KYC at your very first withdrawal and run random account checks that can freeze withdrawals.
  • Maximum winnings per sport per 24 hours, and very large withdrawals can be split into weekly instalments.
  • Bonuses must be activated before depositing and expire quickly if unused.
  • Poor 2026 player feedback, centred on account closures and verification after wins.

Licence, ownership and the 2026 changes

Sportsbet.io was built by Coingaming, the company founded by Tim Heath that rebranded as Yolo Group in 2021. For most of its life the brand ran under a Curaçao licence. Its last Curaçao operator was mBet Solutions N.V., which held a direct licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority under the island’s new framework.

That changed on 30 September 2026. Sportsbet.io published a licence update saying EZ Spins Ltd, a company registered in Anjouan in the Union of Comoros, had taken over operations. Trade outlet 15M checked the Anjouan register the same day and found Sportsbet.io, Bitcasino.io and Livecasino.io listed under one licence held by EZ Spins Ltd, number ALSI-202509076-FI2, issued on 30 September 2025. It also noted an oddity: the licence showed as valid even though its displayed expiry date was 29 September 2026. Sportsbet.io says balances, bonuses and open bets carried over, and some players will be asked to accept new terms when they log in.

Yolo Group’s plans for the brand

In September 2025 Yolo Group said it would focus entirely on regulated markets, merge Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io into a single Yolo.com brand, and target newly regulated markets such as Finland, alongside its licensed B2B business in the UAE. Reporting in early 2026 linked the move to falling income in 2024 and 2025 and to heavy redundancies in Estonia. In February 2026 several outlets, citing The Australian, reported that Betsson was the front-runner to buy Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io. Betsson runs licensed brands in many European markets, so a sale could eventually change how and where Sportsbet.io operates. As of October 2026 we have found no announcement that a deal was signed.

What the Anjouan licence means for you

An Anjouan licence is legal permission to operate from that jurisdiction, but it offers less than a strict regulator: there is no independent dispute service you can rely on, the terms are governed by Comoros law, and complaints go to the operator first. Our crypto casino licence guide explains the differences between Curaçao, Anjouan and national regulators, and how to check a register yourself.

Check the footer first

Before depositing, scroll to the footer and confirm the operating company and licence number, then check the licence on the Anjouan register. If the footer names a different company from the one in this review, the brand has changed hands again and you should read the new terms before playing.

Restricted countries and the Brazil ban

Sportsbet.io’s terms bar anyone located in or from a restricted jurisdiction, and the list can change at any time. As of late September 2026 the site still listed Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, South Africa and Curaçao among them. Third-party summaries of its 2026 terms also include France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Czechia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, Slovenia, Iran, North Korea, Ontario and US territories, and some list Spain and the UAE. Because lists differ, check the current terms before registering.

Brazil has been one of Sportsbet.io’s biggest markets, but that is over for now. Provisional Measure 1,394, published on 25 September 2026, bans fixed-odds betting and online casino games in Brazil, including offshore operators serving Brazilian players. Sites had to go offline on 6 October 2026, challenges are pending at the Supreme Federal Court, and Congress must still vote to approve, amend or let the measure lapse. Our Brazil coverage page tracks the situation.

If your country is restricted, do not try to get around it. The terms say accounts opened from restricted places can be closed, winnings confiscated and withdrawn funds reclaimed. Our coverage hub lists operators we track in each market, including South Africa and Canada.

Welcome bonus and wagering explained

As of October 2026 the main sign-up offer is the Champions Welcome Bonus: a 100% match up to 300 USDT, in a sports version or a casino version. The minimum deposit is 10 USDT. You must choose and activate the bonus in the Rewards section before you deposit; it cannot be added afterwards.

Wagering figures come from 2026 reviews and differ by source; the promotion terms on your account apply.
TermSports versionCasino version

Minimum deposit10 USDT10 USDT
Reported wagering10x to 15x, minimum odds around 1.50, about 7 days40x
Game contributionQualifying bets at minimum oddsSlots 100%, table and live games 20%
ActivationBefore deposit, in RewardsBefore deposit, in Rewards

Sportsbet.io’s general terms add some rules worth knowing. Unused rewards can be cancelled after 72 hours unless the promotion says otherwise. If you withdraw before finishing wagering, the bonus and its winnings are removed. With a deposit bonus active, your original deposit cannot be withdrawn until wagering is complete. The operator can also void bonuses it considers abused, a judgement it makes alone.

Worked example

Deposit 100 USDT and take the sports version: you get 100 USDT of bonus. At 10x wagering you need to place 1,000 USDT of qualifying bets at odds of 1.50 or more. If the average margin on those bets is 5%, the expected cost of that betting is about 50 USDT, leaving an expected value of around 50 USDT. At 15x, the expected cost rises to about 75 USDT. The casino version at 40x means 4,000 USDT on slots; at a 4% house edge the expected cost is about 160 USDT, more than the 100 USDT bonus.

The sports version is the better deal for most people. If you mainly play live casino or table games, which count at only 20%, the casino version is hard to clear. Our casino bonuses guide explains wagering, contribution rates and maximum-bet rules in more detail.

Promotions, rakeback and loyalty rewards

Sportsbet.io’s ongoing promotions page is busier than its welcome offer. As listed in October 2026 it includes:

  • Weekend Free Bet Boost, a recurring free-bet promotion around weekend fixtures.
  • League of Sportsbet, a weekly 50,000 USDT competition across the sportsbook, slots, live casino and Originals, with boosts up to 1.60x.
  • Weekly Rakeback of up to 5% on selected slots from Monday to Sunday.
  • Match Day Spin Insurance, which pays free spins when a qualifying bet loses.
  • Highest Odds of the Week, a 1,000 USDT prize for the highest-odds winning bet.
  • The Million Club, a 100,000 USDT cash reward for players who deposit 1,000,000 USDT and meet a large wagering target. This is aimed at a tiny number of very high-stakes players.
  • Slot challenges and a game of the week.

Third-party reviews also describe a loyalty club and VIP tiers with higher limits and personal account managers, but Sportsbet.io does not publish a full rate table, so treat any VIP percentages you see quoted as unverified. Promotions can be limited by region, and the terms let the operator restrict them geographically.

Valuing rakeback

The value of "up to 5%" depends entirely on what the percentage is applied to. On 2,000 USDT of slot play with a 4% house edge, 5% of the house edge returns about 4 USDT (2,000 x 4% x 5%), while 5% of net losses of 80 USDT also returns about 4 USDT. 5% of total stakes would return 100 USDT, which no operator pays. Read the promotion terms to see which base applies before deciding the offer is worth chasing.

For a wider look at how rakeback compares across brands, see our rakeback casinos guide.

Sportsbook depth, odds and limits

The sportsbook is the reason to choose Sportsbet.io. It covers more than 40 sports, with football first: every major European league and competition, plus lower divisions and leagues from South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Basketball, tennis, cricket (including the IPL and other T20 leagues), ice hockey, American football, baseball, MMA, boxing, darts, motorsport and racing are all available. Pre-match markets include match result, handicaps, totals, both teams to score and player props on bigger matches. Live betting has cash-out on many markets and streaming on selected events.

Margins

Independent price sampling published in 2026 found top-flight football in the Premier League, Champions League and LaLiga priced at margins of roughly 3.6% to 4.9%, with second-tier football a little wider and lower leagues above 6%. Two-way markets such as tennis and MLB sampled at around 4.5% to 5.5%. That is competitive for a crypto sportsbook and close to what large licensed bookmakers charge on major events. Margins on niche markets and player props are higher everywhere, so shop around for those.

Working out the margin

A football match priced at 2.40 home, 3.40 draw and 3.10 away has implied probabilities of 41.67%, 29.41% and 32.26%. They add up to 103.34%, so the bookmaker margin is about 3.3%. Run the same sum on any market before you bet; our odds guide shows the method step by step.

Esports

Esports has its own section covering Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant and other titles, with live odds during major tournaments. Coverage of smaller esports events is thinner, and limits are lower than on football.

Maximum winnings

The terms set a maximum payout per sport over 24 hours, published on a separate limits page in euros. Top-tier events such as major football competitions carry much higher caps than minor leagues and niche sports. Where a multiple includes events with different caps, the lowest applies, and bets the operator considers linked across accounts can be capped as one. High-stakes bettors should check the limits page before placing large accumulators.

Casino, live casino and Originals

Sportsbet.io’s casino shares content and infrastructure with Bitcasino.io. Reported game counts in 2026 range from about 2,500 to 6,000 depending on region and source, which is mid-sized by crypto casino standards. The lobby includes slots from major studios, a live casino with blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows, and Sportsbet Originals, the in-house crash, dice and similar games.

Third-party slots show their return to player in the game information, and you should check it because some providers offer several RTP versions. Live dealer and table games count only 20% towards bonus wagering, and some games are excluded from loyalty and reward wagering altogether. Our RTP guide explains how to read these figures.

If casino play matters more to you than sports, crypto casinos such as BC.Game and BetFury offer larger libraries. Sportsbet.io’s casino is a solid add-on to the sportsbook rather than the main attraction.

Payments: coins, speed and withdrawal limits

Sportsbet.io is crypto-first. 2026 reviews list around 11 to 15 supported coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, USD Coin, Litecoin, XRP, TRON, BNB, Cardano, Dogecoin and Toncoin. In some regions fiat methods such as cards and local e-wallets have been offered, but availability varies and several were tied to markets such as Brazil that are now closed. Each currency has its own wallet, and the terms say you cannot move or convert funds between them, so deposit in the coin you plan to bet with.

Minimums from 2026 third-party reviews; the Help Centre lists current figures.
CoinReported minimum withdrawalTypical network speed
USDTAbout 10 to 20 USDT depending on networkMinutes on TRON; longer on Ethereum
BTC0.0005 to 0.001 BTC10 to 60 minutes
ETHAbout 0.01 ETHA few minutes
LTCAbout 0.1 LTCA few minutes
XRPAbout 20 XRPSeconds

Crypto withdrawals are typically processed within 15 to 60 minutes once your account is in good standing, and fiat withdrawals can take up to three working days after approval. The terms add several conditions:

  • You must verify your email before your first withdrawal, and deposits need three blockchain confirmations before you can withdraw against them.
  • The operator can require you to wager deposits once (1x) before withdrawing, and five times if it suspects the account is being used to move money.
  • After a password change, withdrawals are blocked for 48 hours.
  • Very large withdrawals can be paid at up to 1,000,000 USDT or equivalent per week until settled.
  • Random Account Health Checks can temporarily restrict deposits, betting and withdrawals.
How the weekly cap works

A bettor who wins the equivalent of 2,500,000 USDT could be paid 1,000,000 in week one, 1,000,000 in week two and 500,000 in week three. Few players will ever be affected, but anyone betting at that level should know the payout could take weeks.

To keep network fees low, stablecoins on TRON or coins such as Litecoin and XRP are usually the cheapest options. Our USDT casinos guide explains how to choose a network and avoid sending on the wrong one.

KYC and account verification

You do not need to upload ID to open an account. The terms, however, give Sportsbet.io wide room to ask. It can request full KYC (legal name, nationality, date of birth, address and government photo ID) at your first withdrawal regardless of the amount, once your total deposits reach $10,000, and for withdrawals over $10,000, and it can ask for proof of address, payment ownership and source of funds at any time. Withdrawals can be held until documents are accepted.

In practice, 2026 player complaints follow a familiar pattern: an account plays for months without checks, wins a large amount, and is then asked for documents, sometimes followed by a closure or confiscation over alleged terms breaches. We cannot verify individual cases, but the pattern is common enough that you should verify early, before you have a large balance, and keep your own records of deposits. Our no-KYC crypto casinos guide explains why no-ID-at-sign-up never means no ID at withdrawal.

Mobile site, support and responsible gambling

Sportsbet.io works in mobile browsers and the live betting interface is designed for phones. Be wary of app downloads offered outside links on the official site. Support runs through live chat and email, with an automated assistant handling simple queries; reviews in 2026 note that the help centre promises 24/7 support while other pages give narrower staffed hours.

The terms describe self-exclusion and account closure through support, and you can enable two-step verification for account security. The range of self-service limits is narrower than at licensed bookmakers, so if you need deposit or loss limits, ask support to set them or use a blocking tool on your own device. Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money. Our responsible gambling guide and responsible gambling hub list free support services.

How to open an account and test a withdrawal

  1. Check the restricted list in the current terms and confirm your country is allowed.
  2. Check the footer for the operating company and licence, and look the licence up on the regulator’s register.
  3. Register with a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification straight away.
  4. Decide whether you want the welcome bonus. If so, activate the sports or casino version in Rewards before depositing.
  5. Deposit a small amount on a cheap network such as TRON or Litecoin, double-checking the network in the cashier.
  6. Place a few bets, then withdraw a small amount to your own wallet to see how long it takes and whether KYC is requested.
  7. Keep records of deposits and withdrawals for your budget and any tax reporting.
