CoinPoker is a crypto-first online poker room with a casino and sportsbook attached, and the sister brand of CoinCasino. It has run since 2018, plays in USDT, settles withdrawals to your own wallet, and in 2026 has grown into one of the busiest offshore poker rooms, helped by a $5 million guaranteed tournament in October and a run of rewards and software changes. It is also an Anjouan-licensed offshore operator, its rewards system changed twice this year, and its public feedback is poor. This review covers what CoinPoker is in October 2026: the security incidents and policy changes that matter, how the licence works, what the 150% welcome bonus really costs to clear, how CoinRewards has replaced flat rakeback, and how the casino side compares with CoinCasino.

Key takeaways
  • Sweden ban (May 2025): Sweden’s regulator banned EOD Code SRL, the company named for coinpoker.com, from offering gambling in Sweden on 12 May 2025, alongside two related companies behind CoinCasino.
  • 2026 security news first: CoinPoker banned 98 bot accounts and refunded about $156,000 in January 2026, banned HUDs and third-party tools from 9 June 2026, and in October 2026 its ambassadors said it had earlier banned an account linked to the "superuser" malware attack on players using third-party table tools.
  • Licence: Anjouan (Union of Comoros), licence ALSI-202412004-FI1, according to 2026 reviews. Sources name Precise Interactive Inc. of Panama or EOD Code SRL as the operating company.
  • Rewards changed: the old CHP-token rakeback was replaced by CoinRewards on 1 April 2026, and the flat 15% daily rakeback was retired on 1 July 2026. Returns now come mainly from leaderboards and prize drops, so they vary from player to player.
  • Welcome bonus: 150% up to $2,000, released in instalments as you pay rake, with 30 days to clear. 2026 sources put the full release at 10 times the bonus in fees.
  • Withdrawals: crypto to a private wallet only, from 10 USDT up to 25,000 USDT per request, with network fees of about 1 to 5 USDT. Trustpilot has suspended CoinPoker’s rating after removing fake reviews, and 82% of the remaining reviews are one-star.

Our verdict on CoinPoker

As a poker product CoinPoker has improved a lot in 2026. The March software update added PLO6, Short Deck and bomb-pot formats, a better mobile client and tournament features such as bubble protection. Traffic has grown to the point where review sites rank it among the largest offshore rooms, and its tournament guarantees are now large enough to compete with established sites. The rake is published, withdrawals go straight to your own wallet, and the room has been unusually open about banning bots and cheats.

The weaknesses are the ones common to offshore crypto gambling, plus a few of its own. The Anjouan licence offers little protection if something goes wrong. The rewards system changed twice in three months, and since July your return depends on leaderboard results rather than a fixed percentage, which favours high-volume players. Public feedback is poor: Trustpilot has suspended CoinPoker’s rating and most remaining reviews allege held withdrawals, closed accounts or rigged games. Those claims are unverified, but they are worth weighing.

Who it is for

CoinPoker suits poker players who already hold stablecoins, want PLO and Hold’em games with an offshore player pool, and will play enough volume to benefit from leaderboard rewards. Casual players who mainly want slots should compare it with its sister site CoinCasino or the brands in our crypto casino rankings.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • One of the busiest offshore poker rooms in 2026, with Hold’em and several Omaha variants running.
  • Large tournament guarantees, including a $5 million event with a $1 million first prize in October 2026.
  • Published rake: 5% on cash games with caps by stake, and tournament fees of 2% to 8%.
  • Visible enforcement against bots and cheating, with refunds paid to affected players.
  • Blockchain-based shuffle that players can check on a hand-by-hand basis.
  • Crypto deposits and withdrawals in USDT, USDC and other coins, with no operator deposit fees.

What to watch

  • Anjouan licence with no independent complaints service.
  • Rewards now depend on leaderboards and prize drops, not a fixed rakeback rate.
  • Welcome bonus needs 10 times its value in rake within 30 days to release in full.
  • Withdrawals are capped at 25,000 USDT per request and cannot go to exchange accounts.
  • Trustpilot rating suspended for fake reviews; 82% of the remaining reviews are one-star.
  • No App Store app on iOS, and third-party HUDs are banned since June 2026.

2026 status check: incidents and policy changes

Before reviewing any brand we check for hacks, outages, closures, licence actions and ownership changes. For CoinPoker we found no hack of the site itself, no reported outage, no closure and no licence action in 2026. We did find several security-related events that matter for anyone playing there.

Superuser malware case (October 2026)

In early October 2026 poker media reported a malware attack on players’ own computers, spread through tampered updates to third-party table tools, mainly Jurojin and IntuitiveTables. The malware let an attacker see victims’ screens, including their hole cards, and is reported to have targeted about 30 high-stakes players between June 2025 and January 2026. CoinPoker ambassadors Patrick Leonard and Mario Mosböck said CoinPoker had already banned an account tied to the attacker, confiscated more than $100,000 and reimbursed affected players. These statements come from ambassadors on social media rather than an official company report, and the losses claimed by players are unverified. CoinPoker’s own servers were not reported as compromised.

Bot ban and refunds (January 2026)

In January 2026 CoinPoker said it had permanently banned 98 bot accounts and returned $156,446 to affected players. Some coverage gives $154,446. It also set a goal of making it close to impossible for a bot to run on the platform by the end of the second quarter of 2026. Earlier enforcement included bans for seating scripts in late 2025.

HUD and third-party tool ban (June 2026)

From 9 June 2026 CoinPoker banned third-party HUDs, solvers, mass data-analysis tools, virtual machines and live coaching during play. Only the built-in HUD and a short list of table-management and hotkey tools are allowed. Some 2026 reviews still say tracking software such as Hand2Note works on CoinPoker; given the June rule, assume it does not, and check the current list of permitted software before you install anything.

Protect your own machine

The superuser case spread through third-party software running on players’ own computers. Install only the official client, avoid tools CoinPoker does not permit, keep your operating system updated, and be wary of anyone on Telegram or Discord claiming to be CoinPoker support.

Licence, ownership and safety

CoinPoker states that it is licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. 2026 reviews give the licence number as ALSI-202412004-FI1 and the operating company as Precise Interactive Inc., registered in Panama, while CardPlayer’s September 2026 review names EOD Code SRL. Older reviews describe a Curaçao licence, which reflects an earlier arrangement. Tony G (Antanas Guoga), the Lithuanian poker player and former MEP, is widely reported as a co-owner. The group also runs CoinCasino, which holds a separate Anjouan licence.

What the Anjouan licence means

An Anjouan licence lets CoinPoker operate legally from that jurisdiction, but it gives players little in practice. There is no mandatory independent dispute service, no reliable rule on keeping player funds separate, and little practical way to enforce a claim abroad. Reviewers of the 2026 terms point out that governing law is Panamanian and that decisions on closing accounts or withholding funds rest with the operator. Our crypto casino licence guide explains how to check a licence and what each regulator does.

Game fairness

CoinPoker uses a blockchain-based random number generator. Players can contribute their own seed and check each shuffle through a hash shown in the client, which is the same principle as provably fair casino games. This proves the deck was not changed after the hand began. It cannot protect you from collusion, bots or malware on another player’s computer, which is why the room’s enforcement record matters.

Countries and access

CoinPoker does not publish a clear restricted country list, and 2026 sources contradict each other on major markets. Some reviews say it accepts players from almost anywhere, including the United States; another says the US is excluded, and a Trustpilot reviewer summarising the 2026 terms describes a US restriction. A site accepting your registration does not make it legal to play from your country, and if you breach the terms your balance can be withheld.

At BestGamblingBitcoin we only list crypto brands in markets where they are allowed under our editorial policy, and we do not list any crypto brand for players in Great Britain, the United States, Australia, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Belgium or Brazil. In Canada we do not list crypto brands for Ontario or Alberta, which run their own regulated markets. The details for each market are on our Canada, South Africa and United States pages.

  • Brazil: Provisional Measure 1,394 of 25 September 2026 banned fixed-odds betting and online casino games in Brazil, including from operators abroad. CoinPoker’s PIX deposit option does not change that. See our Brazil page.
  • United Kingdom: online poker and casino are licensed by the Gambling Commission, and CoinPoker holds no UK licence. See our UK page.
  • Australia: offering online casino and poker to Australians is illegal under the Interactive Gambling Act. See our Australia page.

Never use a VPN or false details to get around a restriction. It breaks the terms and is the most common reason offshore sites close accounts and keep balances.

Welcome bonus: 150% up to $2,000

New players get a 150% match on the first deposit, up to $2,000 in bonus. To get the maximum you need to deposit at least $1,334. The minimum deposit is $10 in crypto or $20 by card. The bonus is not paid at once: it releases in instalments as you pay rake at cash-game tables or tournament fees, and anything not released within 30 days is forfeited. Released money is cash you can withdraw.

How much rake you need is where 2026 sources disagree. SoMuchPoker (October 2026) and CardPlayer (September 2026) both describe 10 times the bonus in fees, with 10% of the fees you generate released each time. Some older reviews describe a much lighter requirement of twice the bonus in rake. We use the 10x figure below because it is the most recent; check the terms when you claim.

Worked example

You deposit $200 and receive a $300 bonus (150% of $200). If release needs 10x the bonus in fees, you must pay $3,000 in rake within 30 days to release all $300, which is $100 of rake a day. If you pay $600 in rake over the month, 10% of that is released: $60. The bonus is a rebate on rake you would pay anyway, so it is only worth chasing at the volume you would play regardless.

The casino side accepts the same welcome offer according to 2026 reviews, but CoinPoker’s main appeal is poker. If you want a larger slots-focused welcome deal, CoinCasino advertises 200% up to $30,000, though with strict release terms of its own. Our guide to casino bonuses explains how to compare offers like these.

CoinRewards and rakeback in 2026

CoinPoker’s rewards have changed more in 2026 than at almost any other room. Until March, the headline was rakeback of up to 33% linked to holding CHP, CoinPoker’s own token. On 1 April 2026 CoinRewards replaced it, paying in ordinary currency with no token needed, and at first included a flat 15% daily rakeback. On 1 July 2026 the flat 15% was retired and its value moved into leaderboards, with the total rewards pool put at more than $7 million a month.

RewardHow it works (October 2026 reviews)
CoinRacesRake leaderboards reset every two hours (hourly at micro stakes); about $5 million a month
Splash PotsRandom cash drops into pots, up to 1,000 big blinds on the largest drops
Bankroll Boosts and missionsCash or tournament tickets for completing set tasks
Micro stakesAt least 100% of fees returned at $0.01/$0.02 and $0.02/$0.05, per reviews
High stakesAction and Battle rewards of up to 75% to 90% at $50/$100 and above
3-Bet ClubPaid membership from 17 August 2026; reported at $35 a month for a 10% to 15% boost

Affiliate reviews quote effective returns of 50% to 60% or more since the change, but those come from short tests at particular stakes, not guarantees. Leaderboards reward volume, so a recreational player who plays a few hours a week will get much less than the headline figures. Our rakeback guide explains how to work out what rewards are really worth. CHP still trades on outside exchanges, but it plays no role in rewards and we do not recommend buying it as part of using the site.

Poker games, traffic and software

CoinPoker runs cash games in No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, five- and six-card Omaha, Short Deck and an All-In or Fold format, plus bomb pots and ante tables. Stakes run from micro levels up to very high Omaha games. The tournament schedule includes knockouts, multi-day events, freerolls and one-cent satellites. PLO6 and Short Deck run less often than Hold’em and standard PLO.

Traffic and tournaments

SoMuchPoker recorded about 6,400 players online at its last check in October 2026, up from 2,000 to 3,000 a few months earlier. In October 2026 CoinPoker is running The One, a $250 buy-in tournament with a $5 million guarantee and a $1 million first prize, which CardPlayer reported had more than 10,000 entries before Day 2 on 12 October. A $1 million guaranteed CoinMillion event follows on 1 November. Earlier in 2026 the room ran a Global Online Poker Championship with a $50 million guarantee and sponsored a week of live High Stakes Poker broadcasts.

Rake

Cash-game rake is 5% with caps by stake and table size; at $1/$2 the cap is reported at $6 with five or more players. Heads-up tables have lower caps, and tournament fees run from 2% to 8%. These are in line with other offshore rooms but higher than some crypto rivals that charge lower caps at small stakes.

Software and mobile

The desktop client was overhauled in March 2026, with a built-in HUD, hand replayer, player notes, run it twice and chip offload. On Android there is a downloadable app; on iOS you play through a web app in Safari or Chrome. Third-party HUDs and solvers have been banned since June 2026.

Casino, live dealer and sportsbook

The casino section carries more than 2,000 games from studios including Pragmatic Play, Evolution and Nolimit City, according to an October 2026 review. That is about half the size of the library at CoinCasino, which reports more than 4,000 titles from 65 or more providers. The sportsbook covers 50 or more sports with combination boosts on multiples. All three products share the same USDT wallet.

Casino winnings carry a default withdrawal cap of $500,000 per calendar month, separate from the per-request limit. If casino games are your main interest, CoinCasino is the group’s dedicated casino, and bigger libraries are available at BC.Game and Stake, which also runs a poker room. Every deposit converts to USDT, so if you deposit Bitcoin you are no longer exposed to its price while you play. Because withdrawals must go to a private wallet, set one up before you deposit and send a small test withdrawal first. Our USDT casino guide compares networks and fees, and the deposits and withdrawals guide covers the checks to make before you send crypto.

KYC and verification

CoinPoker does not require full identity checks to sign up. Phone verification by SMS is enough to deposit, play and withdraw according to 2026 reviews, but the terms let the operator ask for documents at any time. Trustpilot reviewers in 2026 describe KYC requests at withdrawal and accounts closed over alleged multi-accounting or shared IP addresses. Use one account, your real details, and do not share devices or networks with other players. Our no-KYC crypto casinos guide explains what light verification does and does not mean.

Player feedback and reputation in 2026

CoinPoker’s Trustpilot page did not show a score when we checked in October 2026: Trustpilot says the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines and that it removed a number of fake reviews. Of the 357 reviews left, 82% were one-star and 8% five-star, and the company had not replied to any visible reviews. The common complaints are withdrawals stuck as requested, accounts closed with balances held, slow support and allegations of rigged games or bots.

Complaints about bad beats and rigging appear at every poker room and are hard to assess. Complaints about held withdrawals and closed accounts are more serious, though they are unverified individual accounts. Poker media coverage in 2026 has been more positive, focusing on traffic, tournaments and enforcement, but much of it is affiliate-supported. Weigh both, keep your balance low and withdraw regularly.

Responsible gambling at CoinPoker

Reviews in 2026 say little about CoinPoker’s responsible-gambling tools, and offshore operators are not required to offer the deposit limits, reality checks and self-exclusion schemes that regulated sites must. Poker can feel like a game of skill, but variance is large, and rewards built on leaderboards encourage long sessions. Set a monthly budget before you deposit, treat it as the cost of entertainment, and stop when it is gone. Our responsible gambling guide lists self-exclusion tools and support services, and the responsible gambling hub has help by country.
